Detention Camps

There has been talk of detention camps in alternative media for a few years now. Mainstream media and a lot of people dismissed this notion. This news has now hit the mainstream, courtesy of the San Francisco Chronicle:

Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts withHalliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees.”

This contract has been in effect for close to nine years now. What other contracts have been done secretly?

What could the government be contemplating that leads it to make contingency plans to detain without recourse millions of its own citizens?”

That is a very good and very chilling question. The government is already removing children from families if they disagree with the medical treatment given to the child. See the post below this one for that story.

Do we still think detention camps are a myth? Do we still think we live in a free society?
