Another Excuse for the Chip

“Lawmakers in Indonesia’s Papua are mulling the selective use of chip implants in HIV carriers to monitor their behaviour in a bid to keep them from infecting others, a doctor said Tuesday.”

The article goes on to say that this chip would be able to prevent the infected people from infecting others. Notice that the article did not say how having a chip would accomplish this. The chip would be able to tell where you are, (problematic in itself) but knowing where you are does not mean you are infecting someone else. How will they know if the infected person is having s*x with someone else?

The only way to know that is if the chip has a video camera and or a small microphone in it.

If the government can convince the people that the chip can protect them from predators, they will be one step closer to requiring for it all people.
