I was unfamiliar with this term, and many of you may be also. This is a British term for areas that certain people are not allowed to be in, such as Christians:
“The incident will fuel fears that “no-go areas” for Christians are emerging in British towns and cities, as the Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali, the Bishop of Rochester, claimed in The Sunday Telegraph this year.”
Two ministers were in a Muslim area handing out leaflets and talking to people. He was told by a police officer that they were in a Muslim area and were not allowed to spread the gospel. They were also told they were committing a hate crime.
“The ministers claim he also advised them not to return to the area. As he walked away, the PCSO said: “You have been warned. If you come back here and get beaten up, well you have been warned”.
A self-fulfilling prophecy perhaps? And it is obvious that police will not help these men should they find themselves entangled in a physical confrontation.
This is just the beginning. Persecution is already a stalwart in parts of the world, and it is spreading West fast.
